                     Open / Moral Government

When you take away the awareness and openness of government through the use of back door committee meetings, closet conversations and early afternoon committee hearings when citizens are working, you take away the rights and freedom of the citizen and increase the opportunity of immoral actions and decisions.

We must ensure our government remains open and all citizens maintain access.  With the technological advances of today there are many ways we can ensure this happens.

The following represents a few ways technology can be used to ensure open and moral government.

                  a.       Through the use of media / technology make public every bill looking to be

passed at the beginning of every legislative session.

b.      Through the use of media / technology make public every appropriations

committee meeting as well as floor votes.

c.       Make available opinion polls through the use of text voting, etc so that at any

given time a legislator can take a public poll of controversial bills.
